Unscriptural Preaching

D. Martyn Lloyd-Jones (1899-1981), pastor of Westminster Chapel in London, wrote, "Any teaching...that starts with us and our needs, rather than the glory of God, is unscriptural, and seriously unscriptural. That subjective approach.., is what has led many astray for so many years."

The video below features Paul Washer. He is direct, caring, and honest on the issue of seeker sensitive churches. We need to preach the Gospel that salvation comes from the Lord and is not the mere assent by man to a creed or the saying of a prayer. Salvation is a supernatural event that comes only by the grace of God for His glory. In our difficult days, we must speak truth regardless of the consequences.
