True Separation

It is time for the followers of YHWH to separate from the world. Most of the time, "Christianity" tries to work within the secular culture. The church tries to influence the world while working within its confines. Many church models are based on business models that have proven successful. This must cease. True followers need to separate from worldly thinking and speaking. The world says that homosexuality is a lifestyle decision. The Word says it is an abomination. The world calls abortion "pro-choice." The Word calls it murder. It is time that the church stop trying to get along with secular culture; instead, the church offers an alternative. The true followers of YHWH should cease trying to influence culture, and instead be a separate culture.

This is not a recommendation to live in seclusion like the Amish, nor to live frozen in a 1950's dress code or entertainment restricted lifestyle, i.e. no television or movies. It is a recommendation to present discipleship in place of the world. This is not semantics; this is radical living. Yeshua called us to a life of separation. He said, "Let the dead bury the dead." Our society would disapprove of such an approach because it appears anti-family. Yes, the liberal thinkers will promote family values if it fits their agenda. We are called to live a life of complete abandonment to His Word. Yeshua has shown us the way. The question is, will we follow?

Are you a "lukewarm" follower of Yeshua? Do you say one thing and do another? Does your life reveal a Sun-Day morning Christianity? If the answer to any of these is yes, know that you are in grave danger. Such a life will not prepare you for the one to come. Become radical like Yeshua. It may cost you your life like it did Him, but it is the only way to follow YHWH.
