The Truth about America

Those that call themselves Christians need to recognize how far our country has fallen from its foundational roots. We as a nation have allowed the sins of homosexuality and abortion to become protected rights. What used to be right is now considered wrong and what our grandparents knew to be wrong is now right. This decline in moral values is bringing judgment on our beloved America. Approval of homosexuality has caused God to abandon us as a corporate body. The following extract from The Truth about America explains in brief about God's abandonment:

"What would cause a loving benevolent Deity to surrender a group to judgment? It is particularly appropriate to use Romans 1:16-28 as our guide. Contrary to what some may believe, America is not a covenant nation with God like Israel. God made a special covenant with Israel that did not include us. We are a Gentile nation and Romans 1: 18-32 specifically includes Gentile nations. In reviewing the verses 18-28, the conditions that would initiate the process of God’s abandonment may be summarized as having a revelation of truth and a rejection and exchange of that truth.
Before the process of abandonment would begin, those being turned over to judgment would first have had a revelation of the truth of God. In verses 19, 20, Paul writes: “…since what may be known about God is plain to them, because God has made it plain to them. For since the creation of the world God’s invisible qualities—his eternal power and divine nature—have been clearly seen, being understood from what has been made, so that men are without excuse.” (NIV) The proper inquiry is to examine the early history of America to see if there was a revelation of God and His rule over this nation.
It would seem clear that America began with a godly heritage. The following quotes appeared in The Prayer of Jehoshaphat by Mike Jeffress in his detailed review of the emphasis of our country in its early years to promote the Christian faith. Jeffress points out that one of the first documents to be created in America was the The First Virginia Charter in 1606 which stated in pertinent part:
“We, greatly commending and graciously accepting of their desires to the furtherance of so noble a work which may, by the Providence of Almighty God, hereafter tend to the glory of His Divine Majesty in propagating of Christian religion to such people as yet live in darkness and miserable ignorance of the true knowledge and worship of God…do by these our letters patents graciously accept of and agree to their humble and well intended desires….” (Jeffress, page 18) (Emphasis supplied)
Again, the same principles of advancing the Christian faith were evident in William Bradford’s writings in the Mayflower Compact:
“Having undertaken for the Glory of God, and Advancement of the Christian Faith, and the Honour of our King and Country, a voyage to plant the first colony in the northern parts of Virginia; do by these presents, solemnly and mutually in the Presence of God and one another, covenant and combine ourselves together….” (Jeffress, page 18) (Emphasis supplied)
Many quotes from our founding fathers could be identified establishing the faith of our country in its beginning days. George Washington in both his Inaugural Address and Farewell Address acknowledged his reliance on the guidance from Almighty God and the necessity of religious faith to maintain morality. In his Farewell Address, he warned:
“And let us with caution indulge the supposition, that morality can be maintained without religion. Whatever may be conceded to the influence of refined education on minds of peculiar structure, reason and experience both forbid us to expect, that national morality can prevail in exclusion of religious principle.” (Jeffress, page 22)
It would seem clear that America had the truth. Our country had a mission to promote the Christian faith and bring honor to God. We had the revelation.
After acknowledging the revelation from God, the next step in the process of abandonment is the rejection and exchange of that truth. Paul writes:
“Although they claimed to be wise, they became fools and exchanged the glory of the immortal God for images made to look like mortal man and birds and animals and reptiles….They exchanged the truth of God for a lie, and worshipped and served created things rather than the Creator—who is forever praised. Amen.” Romans 1: 22-23, 25(NIV)
America has had a second revolutionary war; the first brought freedom from England and the second has sought freedom from God. We have declared our independence from Him by exchanging His truths for our own wicked plan to exalt self. We have sought to answer the ills of society primarily through education without the borders fixed by a Godly morality. The result has been disastrous. Jeffress points out that, we have told God:
“God, we don’t want to be one nation under You any more.
God, we don’t want You in our schools.
God, we don’t want Your commandments in our Courts of law.
God, we don’t want Your standards of morality restricting our freedom of expression.” (Jeffress, pages 28, 29)
The rejection of the revelation is seen in the exchange that has been brought about through laws and lawsuits that have removed Godly principles from our nation. The exchange has taken place; the final step to abandonment has been made."

We the true church of Jesus Christ must sound the alarm against sin. Homosexuality and abortion are national disgraces. It is time for the believer in Jesus Christ to stand up and be prepared to face persecution in America for standing for the truth.

The plan for America is to bring us all under a big blanket of Socialism. The way to do this is to slowly take away the morality of our society and watch us decay as we turn our backs on God. I wish I could remember the name of the Austrian who suggested this to Hitler. Obviously Hitler didn't listen because he wanted world domination immediately. It has taken some time and will take a little while longer, but as we slowly remove God's law and morality we will sink deeper and deeper into the sesspool. In my opinion we are pretty much China in reverse. China started out as strictily communist but has added some form of capitalism to build their economy into a communist-capitalistic society. We are a capitalism that is moving towards a more socialistic society. Sooner or later you won't be able to tell the difference between the U.S. and China
