CBN News reported yesterday:
"Pro-life pastor Rick Warren will give the invocation at President-Elect Barack Obama’s inauguration. It makes a whole lot of sense. Even though Warren and Obama disagree on the life issue, they do see eye to eye on many social justice issues. This move is also classic Obama because it is a signal to religious conservatives that he’s willing to bring in both sides to the faith discussion in this country. Obama has never shied away from that."
Are you going to fall for this obvious attempt to throw the pro-life camp a bone? Until Obama changes his abortion stance, no Christian should lend his or her support to him. I know this sounds harsh and separatist; however, the issue is the more than 3000 babies that will be aborted today. We must stand our ground on this issue. Abortion is no different in the final result than the Israelite's passing their children through the fire to sacrifice them to the false god Molech. Making a stand can cause a division, but when that division is based on holiness and righteousness, it must be made. For Rev. Warren, I no longer have any idea what he will do next. His "gospel" is dangerous and not based on discipleship as taught by Jesus Christ. Let us pray for him and the many that attend his church. For Mr. Obama, pro-lifers are not intersted in a discussion, we are interested in saving the children now!
