As we approach the Christmas shopping season, you might want to consider spending your money with businesses that keep "Christmas" in Christmas. As opposed to "Happy Holidays" or "Seasons Greetings," some companies are actually being so bold as to say "Merry Christmas!" The following list was sent to me. I am going to keep the bottom five off my Christmas list.
"Christmas-friendly" retailers — prominent acknowledgment of "Christmas"
Linens 'n Things
Neiman Marcus Nordstrom
Pier 1 Imports
The Home Depot
"Christmas-negligent" retailers — marginalized use of "Christmas"
Barnes & Noble
Bed, Bath & Beyond
Circuit City Dick's Sporting Goods
Toys "R" Us
"Christmas-offensive" retailers — apparent abandonment of "Christmas"
